2003-2004 Christmas Bird Counts

Pawling Count
These totals represent birds/numbers found on the Pawling, New York. The count circle includes eastern Dutchess County north to Wingdale, bounded on the west by Poughquag and Greenhaven. In addition, the northern portion of Putnam County, including Kent, Carmel, and Patterson, is part of the circle, as are Sherman, parts of New Milford, and Danbury, Connecticut. The count was held on New Year's Day under good weather conditions with moderate temperatures, low of 27 around 7 in the morning and a high around 42 in the afternoon. The day was bright and there was no rain or snow.
