Bedford Audubon Seed Sale
The BAS Annual Bird Seed Sale is your opportunity to buy good quality birdseed, and help us raise funds to provide the educational and other programs the community enjoys. The seed mixes have no “filler” seeds that you find in cheaper mixes, so there is very little waste. In addition, cheaper mixes do not attract as many varieties of birds. We urge you to buy as much seed as you need for the entire winter from your local Audubon Chapter. Cheap metal trashcans are the best way to store a lot of seed. Feel free to enter your seed sale payment directly via our web site by clicking on the "Support BAS, Make a Donation" tab on the navigation bar to the left, enter the amount, then write "seed sale order" in the comment area. Then be sure and mail the order form to us. Click for a printable copy of the BAS Seed Sale Brochure and Order Form The last day to order this year, will be Saturday, October 23. Pickup date is Saturday, November 6 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Bedford Hills Park. Directions to the park: Post a reminder about the pick up date on your calendar! We are always happy to have some extra help loading bags into cars on the day of the sale. Come for any part of the day. If you need more information about helping or buying, email Steve Ricker at sricker@bedfordaudubon.org or call him at (914) 234-2934. Copyright © 2002-2010 Bedford Audubon Society |
